About CORFAC |
|
Bitzer Real Estate Partners is proud to be affiliated with CORFAC. CORFAC International is a Network of Independently Owned Entrepreneurial Firms and Affiliates in Individual Markets. Established in 1989 as a non-profit association, the organization invites firms to join the network based on geographic markets and the ability of the firm to respond to the requirements of clients and colleagues for services.
Each member's annual investment in CORFAC is cost-effective and collectively maintains a responsive, productive operating structure and headquarters. The investment includes an annual dues payment and a one-time initiation fee paid on the first anniversary of the firm's membership.
Unlike other networks, there is no stipend paid to the network on each transaction, nor is there a requirement that all transactions be made through other member firms. CORFAC is confident that it will be the choice of the referring firm to use a CORFAC member in the target market. Minimum membership requirements include a professional office with full-time administrative staff; a minimum of three industrial and/or office salespeople with competency in both industrial and office transactions; and it is strongly recommended that the firm's individual salespeople hold designations in professional associations such as the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), CCIM Institute (CCIM), and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
CORFAC boasts one of the highest percentages of SIOR designees, CRE designees, Certified Commercial Investment Managers (CCIM), and Certified Property Managers (CPM) of any network.
Through the trust, respect and special relationships of the individuals belonging to CORFAC, the network is able to provide quality resources, education, and information sharing, resulting in learning from each other in ways, not always individually possible, to serve clients in an effective, sustaining, and mutually rewarding manner.
One of the key success factors for CORFAC is the participation and involvement of member firms in committees, including Communications, Conferences, Education, International, Long Range Planning, Membership, Referrals, and Technology.
Every year, CORFAC refines and enhances the effectiveness of the network by hosting two conferences in member cities.
The organization's Website - www.corfac.com - provides valuable information for the general public, prospective clients and CORFAC members.
An active Past Presidents' Council mentors and sustains the culture of the network while assuring participation of member firms.
